A few of the productions and events we have supplied camera props, news kit and retro TV stacks for - working alongside directors, DOPs and props departments.
From Apple TV and Netflix dramas to the BRIT Awards red carpet, we set the kit up, look after it and help the cast use it authentically.
For the Apple TV series Slow Horses, starring Gary Oldman, we supplied a news and press team with the necessary video and paparazzi cameras to create a realistic news environment. Collaborating closely with the DOP and the director, we ensured each shot was precise. Our team also trained supporting actors on using the equipment authentically, resulting in a dynamic and realistic portrayal that met the production's high standards.
We were really proud to supply all the paparazzi cameras and news cameras for the Netflix documentary Amy Winehouse: Back to Black. Working on such an iconic project allowed us to contribute to capturing the essence of Amy's story with authenticity. Our team ensured that every piece of equipment enhanced the documentary's visual narrative, helping to bring this powerful story to life on screen.
We advised on the set of Treason for Netflix, providing guidance across several scenes in four episodes. Our role was to ensure authenticity in each scene, working closely with the production team to get the details right. Additionally, we assisted in selecting the appropriate press kit used on set, contributing to the overall realism and quality of the series.
For the ITV series Grace, featuring John Simm, Richie Campbell, and Craig Parkinson, we provided essential paparazzi cameras and other equipment to create a realistic police and crime scene environment. Our team collaborated closely with the production crew to ensure every detail was accurate, guiding the cast and crew on the proper use of the equipment. This careful attention to detail helped create a convincing and authentic portrayal that added to the overall quality of the show.
For the screening of Pixar's 'Dream Productions', we were thrilled to supply an array of Hollywood-themed props that brought the magic of filmmaking to life. Our collection included classic pieces such as authentic directors' chairs, clapperboards, film cans, vintage film cameras, and iconic studio lights. These timeless treasures were seamlessly showcased alongside the sleek equipment of a modern-day film studio, including state-of-the-art cameras, boom mics, and powerful studio lights. The combination of old and new created a captivating atmosphere that celebrated the art and evolution of filmmaking, perfectly setting the stage for an unforgettable cinematic experience.
We were privileged to supply a striking stack of vintage televisions to grace the entrance of the legendary new TRAMP nightclub. These retro screens, sourced from our extensive collection of vintage and retro televisions available for prop hire, created an unforgettable visual statement. Perfect for adding a touch of nostalgia and intrigue, television stacks like these serve as impressive eye-catchers for any event or show, blending timeless charm with bold creativity.
For the Brit Awards, we were thrilled to design and build a 46-screen Retro TV Stack as a stunning Video Wall for the red carpet. This eye-catching installation became the backdrop for countless celebrity moments, with stars creating personal Instagram clips in front of the vintage TV hire setup. The project took two months to design, using 46 retro televisions, with a one-day build and test, and just two hours on the red carpet - but it made a lasting impact! For the VIP screening of Stephen King's Monkey, we created a 12-screen Retro TV Stack as the centrepiece of the event. Each vintage TV played a different trailer, immersing guests in the eerie atmosphere. Built on a small stage with LED lights, the setup enhanced the horror theme, making it a standout video wall for the night.
